Telespond Senior Services, Inc., operates a full service adult day services program for older adults who are in need of supervision, personal care, or nursing services. Participants spend the day in a clean, safe and structured environment. The facility currently serves 40+ clients per day, and is specifically designed for the Alzheimer's patient. It includes a wandering area indoors and a patio area and yard, where participants grow vegetables and flowers.

The adult day services center boasts a caring and supportive staff, professional nursing care, clean and cheerful facilities, and Occupational, Speech, and Physical therapies are available on-site. Adult Day Care is an affordable alternative to nursing home care, and allows loved ones to remain at home. For additional information on the adult day care center, contact Mary O'Donnell, Adult Day/Respite Services Director, either by e-mail or by phone at (570) 346-7860.

Check out the adult day care newsletter, The Outlook . You'll find a complete menu and activities for the month.

"Telespond's Adult Day Care, transportation, and the Senior Companion Program provided our family with the opportunity to take the much needed caregiving time-outs." Henry G.

"Mom came home the very first day happy, talking and looking forward to going back. It's been that way ever since. Thank you for bringing some light and life back to my mother." Sally F.
